I'm a little bit late (call me a horrible BFPB) but both my wonderful BFPB's/friends have both gotten their long awaited positive pg test in the last few days!!



I wish both of you nothing but the most wonderful 9 months and couldn't be more happy for you!!!! I love you guys! :)

I have to say that I have met some of the most amazing people on TTGP. I don't know what I would do during this crazy period in my life without you ladies. For this I thank you. I hope to always be there for you ..... xoxo Papps

I seriously love this day and I'm not even Irish! Ha! All the celebrations and fun drinks.....

DH and I had discussed having ourselves a green beer or two, but since we didn't have enough food coloring, we opted for White Russians and just called them White Irish's. They were delish :) We had a nice bbq, hung out and drank. Does it get any better than this?

My moms coming to visit :)

I'm pretty excited. My mom is coming up to hang out with me and stay the night! I'm looking forward to some girl time with her. We'll do a little shopping etc, then my good friend and DH will meet up with us for dinner and a movie. I had initially hoped to test today and thought what great timing that would be if we did get pregnant. I know it ain't over till the fat lady sings, but this chart is confusing me. Oh well.... I got my mom here with me and that's what matters today. Yey for mom and daughter time!

That's the way life is I guess

I am seriously so fucking tired of this. I just don't understand why we can't get pregnant!!!!! With this temp drop we're on to month 10, and it doesn't seem to get any easier. I just don't understand why. Why can so many people get pregnant by just hugging someone and yet for some of us its such a difficult road; both mentally & physically. All I can do is cry right now. AF prevails again.

I guess on a positive note- I ovulated again. Whooptie fuckin do.

Alice in Wonderland

DH and I had our Saturday night dinner and movie date tonight. We ate at On the Border (yum) and saw A in W. We both thought it was pretty dang good. Johnny Depp is absolutely amazing in this (but what's new), and the 3D graphics were fantastic!
We were thoroughly entertained. There was just enough humor in it, mixed with action and drama to keep all ages intrigued.
Two thumbs up in our book!

Had a blast snowboarding today!

DH and I went up to Mt Hood Meadows to hit the slopes.... had a great time, though we shortly realized how out of practice we were! Every inch of our lower extremities were aching. Gotta love it. It was snowing quite a bit, but made for a great new layer of snow. It was a tad bit fogged in on the top half of the run, but other than that it was such a great time! We went at 3 PM to get the discounted night ski package so that was an added bonus, and it was just nice to get back out there and shred :)
Then DH took me to dinner afterward and we rented The Stepfather (not so great of a movie btw).

DH and I went and saw it tonight. Great movie btw! But it made me realize how much a adore Leonardo DiCaprio... goodness gracious he's a hotty

Ugh, goodbye shittastic week

:Vent commencing: This past week has been a rough one to say the least. Work has been demanding, GP seems to be more of a stressor for me right now (no offense to anyone in particular), and I keep having all these close friends/family announce their pg's. I'm usually ok with it all, but it seems to bare weight with me this time.

As I always like to end on a positive note.... I started OPK's this month, hopefully it doesn't jinx me but rather give me a + :)
Also, my acupuncture has become such a wonderful relief to go to on a weekly basis- it has become my oasis if you will. That, and DH has been a doll to boot! TGIF (in a few hours anyways) lol

Plumbing looks good!

So I called the doctor's office yesterday to find out the results of my ultrasound and the nurse told me my insides looked great. No signs of any cysts and that my ovaries looked in great condition! That is the BEST news eva!!

Yeah, I thought I would prepare myself for what I could find, and so Googled images of what "I" saw on the screen. Bad idea.

DH was pretty excited about the results, as was I. Although it doesn't explain the causes of some of my issues, it does however rule out other issues that could have potentially been problems down the road. So at least the asshole doctor took care of something in the end.

This has been the best weekend in a while

So, it all started on Friday when DH and I bought Zombieland and watched that along with a nice dinner. Then Saturday we slept in until 11 am (yup, you heard correctly eleven in the mornin) and cuddled in bed until 1145, when we finally got up and made breakfast. Sooooo nice. We hung on the couch and watched Waterboy together, then I decided it was time for another nap. lol I woke up, showered then DH and went and saw Paris with Love (with John Travolta) good movie might I add.... then went to On the Border for dinner. We already had Paranormal Activity, so we watched that together before going to bed.

It was a lot of movies.... but man was it so nice just to curl up together and relax. I love my DH!! XOXO
