W00T W00T!! V-day baby!

Can I just say how thrilled I am to have made it to this point? What an amazing milestone :)
MH and I went to IKEA today and bought a few things.... I can't for him to put together the dresser, and the flower lamp to go with the lady bug lamp It should hopefully be cute! We didn't want an expensive dresser until we move into our home, so this cheapie should work perfectly! I loaf IKEA :)

*How big is baby?: Still the size of a Papapya

*Sleep?: Give and take

*How are you feeling physically? Wonderful! I seem to tire more easily, but otherwise good

*How are you feeling emotionally?: I have great days and I have cranky days lol My patience level has slipped

*Best moment this week?: Feeling her kick on a daily basis. She moves around a TON now

*Movement?: See above post ;)

*Food cravings?: Nothin really at the moment

*Labor signs?: No

*What I miss: Sleeping on mah belleh

*What I'm looking forward to: Having the baby's room totally done..... I've been slacking lately

*Random Thoughts: We have 16 weeks (give or take a few weeks) until she's here!! ZOMG!!!

A few firsts!

So today was our first 80* weather we've really had all year (I'm hoping this is finally the start of summer) and boy did my body react! Here's a picture of my feet (you can actually press things against my calves and leave an imprint for a good 5 mins) LOL

Infertility

I have something for you......


So many emotions run through me on a daily basis still to this day. Yes, I got pregnant, but I'm still not "normal".

I have trouble being totally happy and ok with this pregnancy. For some reason I feel like something will happen and that it will be taken away from me. I guess after all the heartache I endured dealing with infertility, it's difficult to just forget all the aches and pains.

Don't get me wrong, I am forever happy I've made it this far, and can only hope and pray that things go great until delivery, but I don't know if I will ever be one of those people who can just be obliviously happy.

Of course I have my days of being on cloud nine, but those insecurities are still lingering around making it painfully difficult to move forward. Odds are greatly stacked against me that I'll ever get to know what it feels like to be a "oops, it just happened" girl, or "it took little to no effort."

Light at the end of the tunnel- I guess it makes me that much more appreciative of what I have and are working towards. Amelia will never know how much her mom and dad truly went through to see her smile

Baby Nursery- Stage 3 of progress

So it's coming together... we got the crib, glider, swing and bassinet put together yesterday, and took the out bedding to air out (we'll wash it closer to baby's arrival). It feels odd, yet so overly exciting to have it becoming a baby room :) MH kept walking in there yesterday, sitting on the glider and just looking at everything saying how exciting.

We still have a LONG way to go though... I have to put up the wall decor (and buy some, yippee!) then we need to get a dresser and arrange the closet- which by the way still has baby items that my sister donated (besides the swing and bassinet). Once Amelia is here, we'll move the bassinet into our room, and the swing out into the living room- but for now, it goes all into the one room.

*What I miss: This week I miss a nice glass of chilled white wine

*What I'm looking forward to: Putting up decorations in the baby room

*Random Thoughts: I do feel a bit strange now that we have so much baby stuff put together- almost as if I just jinxed myself :(

So, a friend of mine was looking for information about Femara so I went looking for the link for a recent free Femara prescription (like I had placed in my blog a while back) and this is what I found..... Google Link
I know my blog is open now and that it could be found, but I suppose I never thought it would be that easy as to type in a blurb and find me! Yowza! lol

The old-new bookshelf

So I spent much of the early morning staining our bookshelf to match the furniture we're getting..... I think I'll have to do a second coat, but we'll see!

*Sleep?: I found a new way to fluff my surroundings..... let's just say I'm sleeping well!!! :)

*How are you feeling physically? Wonderful!

*How are you feeling emotionally?: For the first time in a long time I'm feeling balanced

*Best moment this week?: When DH felt her kick from the outside :o)

*Movement?: Daily! I'm just starting to feel her from the outside and it's amazing

*Food cravings?: Carbonation. Again.

*Labor signs?: No

*What I miss: Recently it's laying on my back and stomach

*What I'm looking forward to: clearing out the baby room so we can start making it an actual baby room! lol

*Random Thoughts: I wonder how many (if many at all) stretch marks will I get?!?

Half Baked!!

*20 Weeks*

I can't believe how fast time is flying by... Here's a bump pic taken today


*How far along?: 20 Weeks

*Total weight gain: 10 lbs squeeee!

*How big is baby?: The size of a Cantalope!

*Sleep?: Um yeah, trying my best :)

*How are you feeling physically? Feeling great actually!

*How are you feeling emotionally?: My patience has disappeared, but otherwise fantastic

*Best moment this week?: Seeing and feeling Amelia kick while at our anatomy scan! Oh and confirming she's an Amelia :)

*Movement?: I'm feeling her start to kick daily, it's pretty stinkin cool

*Food cravings?: Carbonation

*Labor signs?: Hope not!

*What I miss: A nice glass of vino

*What I'm looking forward to: Seeing her kick from the outside. I know MH would LOVE to see that

*Random Thoughts: It's amazing to think I'm half way there (even less if she decides to debut a little bit early) I count my blessings daily <3

*How far along?: 19 Weeks

*Total weight gain: 4 lbs as of the last doctor's appt

*How big is baby?: The size of a Mango!

*Sleep?: Meh, okay

*How are you feeling physically?: Physically doing ok, still have a wee bit of swelling but nothing huge

*How are you feeling emotionally?: Had a mini meltdown yesterday, but doing better today ;o)

*Best moment this week?: Clearing stuff out of the computer room/soon-to-be baby room

*Movement?: I felt her kick a few times last week! It was amazing

*Food cravings?: Carbonation

*Labor signs?: Nope

*What I miss: Sleeping through the night

*What I'm looking forward to: Our anatomy scan!

*Random Thoughts: I can't help but wonder how large I'll get towards the end! I feel like I'm pretty big now, so we'll have to wait it out and see! :)
