16 Weeks

*How far along?: 16 Weeks

*Total weight gain: 4 lbs

*How big is baby?: The size of an avacado.

*Sleep?: Still waking up for the restroom, but I'm finally getting comfortable again

*How are you feeling physically?: Feeling really good. I've started getting heartburn the last few days, but other than that I'm feeling back to normal

*How are you feeling emotionally?: This week I had to deal with the idea of how much weight I will end up at. It was a little difficult to swallow, especially since I've NEVER been this heavy to begin with. BUT, bring me a healthy baby and I'll gain whatever I need to!

*Best moment this week?: Hearing the heartbeat at the doctor's office. It sounds a lot different than on my home doppler

*Movement?: Nope.

*Food cravings?: Mexican food!

*Labor signs?: Nope

*What I miss: A glass or three of my Pinot Noir

*What I'm looking forward to: Our anatomy scan!

*Random Thoughts: I wonder what color eye's the bebeh will have?

13 1/2 weeks vs. 15 weeks

I will start off stating that all of my pictures so far have been after dinner so I'm not technically this large yet.... it's some food belly too :o) Still, I'm thinking this is pretty big for 15 weeks.... lets just hope this isn't insight for what's to come!!!!

*How far along?: 14 Weeks

*Total weight gain: Still on strike. The scale and myself are not in agreement currently

*How big is baby?: The size of a lemon.

*Sleep?: I wake up often to use the bathroom or re-situate but otherwise sleeping good

*How are you feeling physically?: Feeling great! Fatigue is slowly easing up :) I think my abdomen is stretching a bit lately since I've had this aching feeling going on

*How are you feeling emotionally?: Feeling pretty dang good! Mr. Papps says my emotions are on red alert though... poor guy

*Best moment this week?: Hearing the heartbeat on my home doppler

*Movement?: Nope.

*Food cravings?: No real cravings, though ice cream has sounded good (not usually an ice cream fan)

*Labor signs?: I hope not :/

*What I miss: Sleeping comfortably

*What I'm looking forward to: Having another day off tomorrow :)

*Random Thoughts: I can't help but wonder how this pregnancy would have made me feel had I not dealt with infertility.

Bought my first real baby item :)

As nervous as I am about buying something more expensive (for me anyway), I am thrilled and cannot wait to get it in the mail!! I bought the diaper bag... LINK I got the charcoal black :)

I first saw someone talking about it on a board, but then I did a lot of my own research and decided that this is hopefully just what I'm looking for :)

Porn boobs

So, someone posted on my bmb about how their breasts are becoming like those of which you would see on pornstars, which got me thinking..... so I looked down at my once 34D boobs and noticed I have a third one growing in there. WTF!!!! When did this happen?

Apparently when I put my bra on in the morning it's ok, but as the boobies shift, the third one sprouts haha Ok so maybe it's not that bad, but it is without a doubt time to go bra shopping! I've heard it gets the worst towards the end, and even more so once the baby is born... I have a feeling I will be shopping in the mid alphabet section for sizes :/

At least the hubs is excited :)

Blood test results are in!!

I'm beyond happy! I know I'm not old, but still older enough to have more concern (per my doctor)- I'm 32.

So my results for Down Syndrome are 1 in 2,941, and Trisomy 18/13 is 1 in >10,000!! I go back 4/24 for another blood screen and regular OB appointment where I guess they will test for more possible defects.

Added bonus for today... I just realized I'm almost out of the 1st Trimester! Holy shit!

I am out at work!!!

So, today I decided to out my pregnancy at work. I had a meeting with my team, and told them I would be taking some time off so the hubs and I can spend time with LO. It was a great feeling. So my plan is to deliver sometime in October, and stay home until after the New Year- hopefully :)

I can't tell you how good it feels to not have this secret! It's funny because a few of the ladies on my team said they had a feeling. I was like "Say wha? How?" lol

****For those of you who I'm FB friends with, I'm not coming clean just yet, so please don't post anything for at least a week or two if you would! I'm not ready to take the plunge all together just yet!****
